Unwanted dark and multi-colored tattoos can be safely and effectively eliminated with Alma’s range of tattoo removal treatments.
Successful multi-color tattoo removal requires a high-powered laser that can deliver enough energy within the absorption spectrum of a wide range of colors.
The high-power Q-Switched Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser is ideal for treating darker ink colors (black, blue, and green), while the 532 nm wavelength is effective for brighter ink colors (red, orange and yellow). The mechanical Q-Switched effect works by vibrating and breaking down the ink particles in the tattoo. As the area heals, the body’s immune system flushes away the shattered ink particles, causing the tattoo to fade with minimal risk of scarring or hypopigmentation.

The iPixel Laser is named for the innovative pixel laser configuration, which stamps a small pin-sized pixel grid onto the skin. This powerful laser is fractionally ablative, so it heats up the compacted scar tissue with powerful, targeted wave energy that destroys the damaged tissue in the process. This laser reaches through the top layers of the skin with precise, controlled penetration and intensity.
Unlike traditional laser resurfacing which removes the entire top layer of the skin, iPixel Er:YAG employs a fractional delivery method which creates pixel-sized perforations in the skin, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This allows the skin to heal faster as the epidermis is regenerated.

Harmony XL Pro
Vascular & Pigmented Lesions Treatment

Dye-VL is a module of the Harmony XL Pro system designed to treat vascular and pigmented lesions. It is a highly customizable, safe, and effective skin treatment. It works by using a narrow band of pulsating light, and it is considered a technologically advanced type of IPL laser. This precision makes it a safer treatment compared to other laser options for patients with pigmented lesions. Like other types of IPL lasers, the treatment works by damaging melanin, or pigment, in the skin to reduce darkened areas.
In addition, the treatment uses IN-Motion technology to enhance your comfort throughout the treatment. This essentially means that the heat from the laser is applied more gradually compared to other treatments, which results in a noticeably more comfortable procedure.
Several types of vascular lesions or birthmarks are treatable using Dye-VL, including:
- LPort wine stains (a deep red or maroon mark on the skin)
- LRosacea (Persistent redness, resulting in a flushed appearance)
- LHemangioma (also called a “strawberry mark”)
- LVenous malformation (abnormally developed veins which may appear purple, red, or blue on the skin)
- LEphelides (freckles)
